Oak Ridge Baptist Church is seeking to hire multiple childcare workers to work Sunday mornings and/or Wednesday evenings.

• Ministry Purpose: To provide safe, secure, nurturing, clean, and efficient care to our children.
• Ministry responsibilities include playing with or directing the children’s play, reading to them, teaching from Bible based curriculum, exhibiting patience and love.
• Job Description:
   Responsible for age appropriate care which includes: feeding; changing diapers; maintaining a safe environment; holding, sitting with, and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, crafts, and play.
   Polite, friendly, and courteous to all children, parents, and volunteers.
   Arrive 20 minutes prior to nursery opening. Service times are 9:30 AM and 10:45 AM on Sundays and 6:30 PM on Wednesdays.
   Work holidays that fall on Sunday and may be asked to work additional hours for other church related activities.
   Stay until all children are secured with a responsible adult.
   Straighten room and clean any used toys/beds before leaving.
   Abide by the nursery policies and classroom expectations.
   Planned absences must be given a week ahead of time. In case of last minute illness please contact the Children’s Ministry Coordinator so a replacement or volunteer may be found.
  Requirements:
   Experience in care of children 0-5 years of age.
   Willing to submit to background checks provided by the church.
   Have a love for the Lord and sharing His Word with the children.
