Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week as we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Crowds gathered, waving palm branches and shouting, “Hosanna!” as they welcomed Him as King.
This service is a joyful celebration filled with worship, Scripture, and reflection on what it means to receive Jesus not only as Savior, but as King. Together we will celebrate the fulfillment of prophecy and begin the journey toward the cross — recognizing that the same crowd that shouted “Hosanna” would soon cry “Crucify.”
Palm Sunday invites us to examine our own hearts: Will we follow Him all the way to the cross?

Tenebrae is a traditional Christian service observed during Holy Week. The word Tenebrae is Latin for “darkness” or “shadows.” The service remembers the suffering, death, and burial of Jesus through Scripture readings, reflection, and the gradual extinguishing of light.
During the service, passages from Scripture recount the events leading to Jesus’ crucifixion. As the story unfolds, candles are gradually extinguished to symbolize the growing darkness surrounding Christ’s death.
The service is quiet and reflective, helping us remember the cost of the cross and prepare our hearts for the hope of resurrection.

This service is worshipful, quiet, and reflective. Many moments are intentionally contemplative as we reflect on the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus.
Yes. Childcare is available for preschool-aged children.
Yes! Families are welcome and encouraged to attend together! Parents may want to talk with their child(ren) ahead of time and explain what the service is about and the importance of being quiet during the service.
A packet will be provided to children for the service that will help them be focused and worshipful.
Good Friday services focus on the weight of Christ’s suffering and sacrifice. The tone is more solemn than celebratory, as we remember the cost of the cross before celebrating the resurrection on Easter Sunday.

The day is called Good Friday because, although it remembers the suffering and death of Jesus, it also marks the moment when God accomplished our redemption. Through His death on the cross, Jesus paid the price for sin and opened the way for forgiveness and new life.
What appeared to be a tragic defeat became the greatest victory in history. Because of the cross, we have the hope of salvation and the promise of resurrection.
So we call it “Good” Friday not because the events were easy or joyful, but because through the sacrifice of Jesus, God brought about something eternally good for the world.
